Training

ARA Ireland is committed to supporting its members throughout their careers and providing relevant training is one of its key functions. Trainings events usually take a particular skill or theme as their focus and give professionals the opportunity to learn from the experiences of other organisations or to add to their skillsets with hands-on training. 

ARA Ireland organises approximately three training events a year, one of which is usually delivered in partnership with the Information and Records Management Society, Ireland. Recent training events have focused on continuing professional development for archivists and records managers, digital preservation, and developing risk registers for records management.
